The smell of fresh-cooked bacon woke Lightning as he rolled over in his sleeping bag. He got up from his bed and walked over to his mom.”Can I help?” he asked.”Sure, you can wash the dishes.” his mom said. Lightning groaned.”Anything but that!” he said.”Unless you want to cook the bacon?” Sky, his older sister, said. Lightning smiled. His mom and sister knew he hated touching meat, except to eat. When breakfast was over, Lightning and Snow, his twin, walked over to the Ironbark forest where they could use their powers in secret. Lightning could release blasts of energy and Snow could freeze anything.
