I’m starting to work on my Minecraft novelization about Alex and a batch of Cutthroat Miners returning to a long-forgotten island discovered by their ancestors. Little do they know, the disgruntled Witch, Geldia Victorias

1. Land Ho!
Alex fumbled with the arrow between her blocky index and middle finger, the expert fletcher of Sailor’s Peak Village had masterfully crafted the quiver of arrows, each packing spectacular powers that even she had little idea of.
Her face tightens in distaste as the Pirate-esque cruiser rocks unevenly, cringing as she slid the arrow back into the quiver, and made her exit.
Climbing the rickety wooden latter, Alex reached into her satchel and whipped out the spyglass, looking down the lens at the shadow of Vineyard Archipelago, an ancient land mapped by Alex’s Miner ancestors.
She now lowers, narrowing her eyes as she reaches for the bow and arrow slung over her shoulder.
“Land Ho!” She bellowed down at the Soldiers below, who scurry to man their stations.
