The 39 Clues are an assortment of books written by an assortment of authors. They have combined their efforts to create this masterpiece of writing, not only in one series, but four. In the 39 Clues we join Amy and Dan Cahill as they realize that everything they knew about their world…is irrelevant. At their Grandmothers will reading, it is reviled to them that they are part of a family that has been around since the 1500’s, and that this family, while back in its day was pretty good, containing people like Mozart, Benjamin Franklin, Mark Twain, and many others, they had left mysterious clues that, when combined, they would create a serum that would make the drinker all powerful. Amy and Dan have to race against other members of their family, millionaires, an ex-KGB, large hulking monsters, and pop-stars, who are also trying to get the 39 Clues, but they want it to use the serum for their own purposes. Chuck Black’s Kingdom series

This series is like no other. You are taken to a fictional place, with some similarities to this world, and some not. There, you find many different characters, sometimes they might be familiar to you, and sometimes not. The characters follow the path of the Bible, from “In the Beginning,” to “May the grace be with Jesus on God’s holy people.” The first two books take all of the Old Testament in them and turn it into partial fiction, and at the same time entwining in characters you can love. The third book picks up from where the first two left off, pushing through the entire New Testament until God brings his people up to heaven. The fourth and fifth books follow Saul, then Paul as he travels to the ‘gentiles’ to bring them the good news. The final book focuses on Revelation, from when God banishes Satan into Hell, to the final revolution and the rising up into the New Jerusalem. These books are a biblical allegory to remember.
