Smithy’s Tale  Book 4 by Judah

Watcher sighed it was pretty obvious he wasn’t going to win. He had made the dragon at home bigger with his power hoping that it would help but it had not so far. Watcher was about to call a retreat when he heard a noise he looked up and gasped, The Nether portal was shaking. Harder and harder it shook until it exploded. In a gigantic flash of light there was a gargantuas dragon with claws the size of mountains and a head the size of the moon. The top of the Nether broke under all that pressure and for the first time the Nether saw the sky. And on the dragon’s back dressed in diamond armor and holding a diamond sword….was Smithy.

Smithy had not expected that much problem. When he flew into the Nether he had seemed to have stepped into a warzone. Dozens of item piles and bones and rotten flesh and ender pearls and gold nuggets and blaze rods and gunpowder and skeleton heads and magma cream which was dropped by magma cubes which were red and orange bouncing cubes that multaplate when they die. There were also ghast tears. As every being, monster and villager alike stared Smithy quickly descended through the air on the dragon. Once he hit the ground he put on some elytra wings and leaped to the ground. Quickly he swung his sword at a zombie pigman and the monster immediately died. All around him dozens of monsters were slowly becoming destroyed one by one until there was only a small group left. Smithy advansed on the biggest one who was wearing a cloak. He was about to attack it with his sword when suddenly the monster flung away his cloak and Smithy gasped standing in the middle of the chaos…was Skelebrine. Smithy was astounded. Everyone knew that after the fall of Erebus, Watcher had personally made sure  his Nether kings were banished to one of the islands in the furthest corner of the End. So what was the second worst, now that Malacoda was dead, doing in the Nether, his home territory? Quickly Smithy swung his sword  but Skelebrine dodged him and launched an attack of his own. After an hour of dueling Skelebrine knocked Smithys sword from his hand. Quickly Smithy punched him in the face knocking away his sword too. Immediately a new sword appeared in the King’s hand. Smithy grabbed his sword and gave Skelebrine a kick. Skelebrine hesitated and in that moment Smithy stabbed him in the heart. Skelebrine disappeared. Immediately all the monsters ran off. Smithy climbed onto the dragons back and the dragon flew off roaring in celebration at the defeat of the monster and his crew. Smithy smiled. It wasn’t every day he killed a monster king. When the villagers got home they partied into the night. The next day Smithy and the dragon went for a ride. When they got home there was a surprise. Ten ender crystals were scattered throughout the village and at the mention of the dragon armies of endermen had joined them. Smithy walked home and then he collapsed into bed and fell asleep. The  next day when Smithy got up he found Watcher. “Baltheron wanted a talk with you” he said and handed Smithy his flail. Smithy picked it up and immediately he heard Baltheron say to him, “The time has come. Smithy you are a wizard.”
