Chapter 1

Hi my name is Katie/Mom.I have three kids one girl and two boys. My daughters name is Maddie. She is so sweet and always helps her brothers.She is 6 years old.My first boy is Tyler he is 13 and he is the oldest. My middle child’s name is sonny. He is so funny and always wants to do things with me! He is 9 years old.My husband’s name is Chase. He is always so polite and so smart and kind! We live in a big neighborhood with lots of friends.We have a lot of family here also.We live in New York it is super fun there it is also really busy but we love it! It is now December 1 and we can not wait to go to family’s houses.My kids love going to there family’s house.

 

Chapter 2

We all just woke up from sleeping. All of the kids woke me up because they all wanted to get ready to go to family’s houses and help them make things for a party we are going to. So of course i got up to help them get ready. They are all wearing the same things with the same decorations. Maddie was wearing a dress with leaves on it and sonny and Tyler are wearing a white suit with the leave ties and leave shoes.chase was wearing the same as sonny and Tyler. I was wearing the same thing as Maddie we all looked so cute. Chase drove us to chases moms house and her name Julie Ann and she is so sweet and helpful. Then we drove to my moms house and her name is Katherine and she is so so thankful about everything and always wants to help. We all had made cookies and brownies they were delicious! Then we went to some of chases high school friends i wondered who or what would great us at the door. A girl greated us at the door.

‘’Hi welcome it is super cold here’.”

“I know it is!”

“Who old are they”?

“Tyler is 13.Sonny is 9 years old.Maddie is 6.”

“I have a 7 and 10 year old.”

 

Chapter 3 

Thanksgiving

Well it is know thanksgiving and all of the kids are so happy. I am also really happy to see family and friends. We had to drive to my moms house and have the party.

“ The party will be so fun!” Maddie yelled.

“ I know i can not wait to go see Nana and Papa!” Sonny also yelled.

“ kids come up in my room and show me your outfits!” I said.

They all said, “ ok mom coming!”

“ Mom i need your help sipping my dress.” Maddie said with a sad voice.

I said, “ come up here, I will help you.”

We got everyone’s things and I got Chases things also. Then we left and Chase drove us.when we all got up to the party. That was about twenty minutes away. We all got out and Tyler, Sonny, and Maddie all ran to my mom and dad.They had a big smile on there faces.

Tyler said, “ Mom I can not wait till Christmas!”

Of course I said,” you will love it!!”

We all went inside and all of them went crazy. They were all like OMG Katie I am so happy I can see you they were all so surprised.We had to eat we had chicken and ham.The kids thought it was the best. It was getting dark so we headed home and Maddie fell asleep and she was NOT happy to get up.

 

Chapter 4

Almost Christmas

2 weeks later

It was the month of December and I had to go wake up the kids and tell them. When I went to go wake them up something happened.I heard something and I turned around and just so you know it is 6:00 in the morning so I turned around and it was Tyler.

“ Mom what are you doing up?” Tyler said with a whisper.

“ You startled me.” I said.

“Sorry mom.” Tyler said with a sad voice.

“ But mom why are you up?”

I said, “ well do you want to wake up your siblings with me?”

Tyler said, “ Yeah sure. Let’s go!”

So we went to go wake them up and Tyler is going to wake up sonny and I am going to wake up Maddie they all have different rooms. Maddie’s room was pink with a loft bed. Sonny’s room also had a loft bed and he likes forest colors and nature things. Under his loft bed, he had a wood door to get under his bed and he had his Xbox things that are all boy stuff. But then Tyler’s room is the boy cave. Well because Maddie and Sonny thought of that name because it is so dark. He has all of his boy things that are in there like a normal 13-year-old with a normal bed. Anyway, we are going to wake them up. It was now 6:50. We went to go wake them up and they were not happy because they did not want to get up but that is like normal. Sonny was not bad getting up but Maddie was so mad she had tears in her eyes. But then they were fine.

 

Chapter 5

Surprising the Miracle

It was the day I got to surprise the kids and I was so happy to surprise them.Once I woke them up we went outside and it was 85 degrees out so we decided to take the boat out! We all got in are swimsuits and went to go on the boat. We went to the lake. Then we drove home and we all got on different outfits. I think me and chase should go and surprise the kids.

I said with a whisper, “ Chase let’s go and tell the kids the Miracle”!

Chase said with a whisper,” Let’s do it!”

So we went to get all of the kids to sit down on the couch so we could tell them. They were all sitting on the couch. They were all like what is going on mom and dad. So we just blurted it out.

We are going to Florida for a surprise for Christmas. They all started to say OMG I am so excited and happy.I was so happy to go to Florida! 

Tyler said, “ When are we going?”

Chase said with a loud voice, “ We are going in 1 day! It is the 26th and we will be there the 27th.”

They were all smiling really big so I knew they were HAPPY and excited. We all just kind of hung out and watched Christmas movies and Maddie took a nap. Tyler was on his XBOX. Sonny was the only one who was sitting with us watching movies and playing board games. We played sorry, Life, and we played Old maid. Those are some of are favorite games. Maddie got up at 3:00 and we laid her down at 1:00 some people are like she does not need naps but she does because sometimes she can get a little grumpy.

 

Chapter 6

Dinner

It was the day I got to surprise the kids and I was so happy to surprise them.Once I woke them up we went out side and it was 85 degrees out so we decided to take the boat out! The taco’s smell delightful and sweet. So of course all of us love it. We go there a lot.Maddie just got tortillas that had nothing on them then Tyler and sonny had a normal tortilla with tomato, lettuce, cheese and meat. They all gobbled it down they loved it so much. When we drove home we stopped at a ice cream place called Hot And Cold Ice-cream Come Get It Now!! That was  another place we loved. When we got there it was crowded with people. That is the life in New York!! We ether got vanilla or chocolate ice cream. Then we went home.

Chapter 7

Airport

When we woke up the next morning we started to pack we had to leave in 3 hours to get to the airport. Maddie was jumping up and down with excitement! Sonny and Tyler were packing their things. They were packing things to do on the airplane. Sonny packed his iPod touch and his iPad. Tyler was packing his iPhone and of course his headphones. I had to pack snacks for all of them even you know we might get something to eat at the airport. Me and chase were packing all of Maddie’s things like coloring books and her iPad. When we packed up all of are clothes and things we need for the airplane. Chase drove us to the airport it was like 30 minutes away. When we got there we went to go do some things like shop. Me and Maddie went to go get are nails DONE!! Me and Maddie love getting are nails done. Sonny and Tyler went with chase to go to a food place and got some food and we ate it.

 

Chapter 8

The Flight

I forgot to say are experience when we went through security was ridiculous. Well we had to start walking to the airplane. All of the people were getting on so we got in line.  We got on the airplane and found are seats. Me and chase work for the navy. So that is  another reason why we are coming here. The planer ride was dramatic with all of the kids. Maddie was hungry. Tyler and sonny were getting mad at Maddie for being loud it was a crazy ride. When we got there me and chase got a call from are work.

 

Chapter 9

The Bad News

After we got the phone call it was bad news that we had to tell gather kids. So we told them.

Me and chase said with a sad voice, “ we have to be deployed for a little bit”

They all started to ask why do you have to. But we did not know why we have tro but we did not tell them that. 

 I said, “ you will stay with grandma Julie and grandpa Mike. “

They were so sad but Maddie did not know what was going on.

We also were walking to a rental car. 

I said,  “ we leave tomorrow I’m sorry to say.”

We dropped the kids off and said,

“ good bye.

Tyler’s point of view,

It was almost Christmas and we have not heard anything about are parents and we were really scared and sad. Also it has been 4 weeks since are parents have left. In tell we got the phone call and we were so sad. We were all so silent the rest of the day. We could not believe it it was the worst. Maddie had tears around her face. We were all so sad and did not know what to do.

It was Christmas and we were so sad what have happened to are parents. We did not open any presents because we never open them with out are parents. Until we heard are doorbell ring we went with grandma and grandpa we opened the door and that was the miracle it was are parents we were in awe. We had so many things to ask but first we had to open presents. Grandma and grandpa thought they passed away but they never did. We all lived a very happy life.
