He was completely surrounded.
He was going to die.
“There there, little one. Your sacrifice will change the future of Minecraft.” A blaze said.
The young blaze knew the elder was right. The blaze had just recently hatched and now was going to die soon after. But it was for the good of all monsters in Minecraft.
The blazes surrounding the youth charged up fireballs, preparing to fire them at the helpless tiny blaze.
And then the fear evaporated, alongside the one who had felt it.
A glowing rod slightly illuminated the dark Nether Fortress that had been abandoned after the defeat of the blaze king Charybdis.
The Nether was much different after that.
The ghasts had become cowardly and it was rare to ever find one since they had all floated far away.
Wither skeletons that had survived the battle at the Source and other battles they were involved in still had stone swords from the Source battle.
Zombie-pigmen had become isolated from each other and now just acted like normal zombies.
The Nether was a mess.
Until now.
“Get over here, you bag of bones!” The blaze in charge of the operation said.
The blaze was larger than than the rest, and seemed to have twice as many glowing rods circling it’s body than the rest.
A wither-skeleton came running into the room, carrying a crafting bench and a strange red object.
The crafting table was put down, and the blaze rod became a pile of blaze powder.
Then the red sphere was placed along side it.
The two items merged together, somehow filling monsters all across Minecraft with excitement.
Then there was an eye.
It looked bloodshot, but could just be red in color.
Then a red mist came from the eye, and a voice could be heard.
“How did you find me?”
“The User-that-is-not-a-user dropped you after while battling Charybdis.” The lead blaze explained.
The red mist seemed to give off an aura of confusion, making it seem sentient. Like it had emotions. Like it used to be alive
The red mist surrounded the lead blaze.
“You have done good. And you already seem stronger than the other blazes. You are perfect for a new king.” The red mist seemed to say.
The mist begun to surround the blaze, and it started closing in.
As the mist got closer, the blaze began to grow, and the internal flame grew brighter. The amount of glowing rods circling the blaze was now uncountable.
All the mobs in the Nether became overly excited.
Even the ghasts and zombie-pigmen, which had no idea about the entire event, could not contain their excitement. Many wondered what was causing it.
The transformation was over.
The blaze was almost as big as the room, and it looked like all the floating blaze rods were connected because of how close they had to be to fit the amount of rods there were surrounding the blaze.
The eye spoke again.
“You shall be known as Volcoss, the king of the blazes- and the Nether.”
And then the mist disappeared.
As it disappeared, a bone-chilling cackle filled the minds of all mobs in Minecraft.
Then the music of Minecraft went silent.
