MC’s Glitch: Five Long Nights

“Ow! Glitch!”
Glitch looked behind her. She was dragging Gameknight by his arm and he was having a hard time keeping up, stumbling here and there.
It was getting dark. Soon, the only thing he could see was Glitch’s glowing left eye.
He bumped into her when she stopped suddenly.
“Hey, um, I’m really sorry for this Gameknight” Glitch said, looking at him.
“Sorry for-“
He didn’t get to finish his sentence. Everything had gone black.

The light blinded Gameknight. He blinked a couple of times, as his eyes adjusted to the light. He looked around, taking in his surroundings.
He sat up with a jolt. This wasn’t Minecraft. Nothing here was cube shaped. He was pretty sure this wasn’t the real world. But… where was he?
The poster on the wall caught his eye. He recognized it from somewhere. There were three robots. Robots? Animatronics!
He recognized it now. He was in that horror game: Five Nights at Freddy’s! He had never played it before but he had seen videos about it come up on Youtube from time to time.
He took a seat in the chair facing the desk. He found a tablet and pulled up the security cameras. His eyes widened, seeing Glitch just outside Pirate Cove. Did she send him here? How?
“Hello? Earth to security guard Gameknight” a voice beside him said.
Gameknight glanced at the speaker then back at the tablet. “How did you get here so fast?”.
Glitch shrugged, looking around the room. She seemed to haven’t heard him.
“I asked the fox just now. You have to survive until 6 AM. It’s 2 AM now.” Glitch said, her eyes still wandering around the room.
“You asked the fox?”
“Yeah, the robots are possessed”
“You know a lot about this game”
Glitch avoided his gaze, “The 1st hour last 90 seconds and the others last 89”.
Gameknight decided on the most reasonable explanation. There was a Five Nights at Freddy’s mod in Minecraft. She might have watched players play in that mod and gotten the information from the chats.
Night 1 passed without anything happening.
Night 2 passed with only Bonnie and Chica coming out.

It was 3 AM in Night 3.
“The bunny’s gone” Gameknight said, alarmed. He put the tablet down and checked the left door’s blind spot.
“Check on Pirate Cove” Glitch said “Foxy might be peeking out”.
Gameknight pulled up the tablet and switched the cameras to Pirate Cove.
Foxy was gone.
He put the tablet down and only just managed to slam the door in Foxy’s face. Foxy banged on the door on a couple of times before retreating.
This time they passed the night with only 20%.

“Hello, hello? Hey! Hey, wow, day 4. I knew you could do it”.
Gameknight muted the call. He needed to focus on something else.
“Why did you do that?” Glitch asked, turning to him. “The call may have contained information!”.
“The other calls didn’t contain any information I could learn” Gameknight replied “So I thought it wasn’t important”.
“I guess you’re right”

6 AM
Gameknight leaned back in the chair. Finally. All five nights finished.
“Can you send me back to Minecraft?” he asked Glitch. She looked at him, puzzled.
“What?”
“Can you send me back to Minecraft?” Gameknight repeated “You were the one that sent us here, right?”
Glitch frowned, “I thought you did”.
