Smithys tale book two by Judah Davidoff
Smithy was so surprised he jumped back. “What is that?” he asked Watcher.
“It’s an Ender Dragon egg.” said Watcher. “When i killed the Ender Dragon it dropped this egg. I couldn’t just leave it because I didn’t want any of our enemies to gain control of it, so I brought it home and hid it here.”
“But it’s hatching!” exclaimed Smithy. “Is that good or bad? How powerful are baby dragons, anyway?”
“The answer to your first question is I’m not sure. I don’t know if we will be able to control the hatchling,” said Watcher. He put out his hand and laid it on top of the egg which was shaking and covered with thin, scratchy-looking cracks.
“What about the second question?” said Smithy.
“It won’t be as powerful as a normal Ender Dragon for four reasons.” Said Watcher. “Reason one it will be a baby not an adult so it won’t be as strong.
Reason two it will be in the Overworld not the End.
Reason three because it is in the Overworld for some reason it will not attack unless it is attacked.
Reason four it won’t have any Ender Crystals giving it health. “
“But will we be able to use it?”
“I doubt it,” said Watcher, shaking his head, “it’s still an Ender Dragon, powerful enough to destroy an entire army with one jet of fire. It’s just not of our world.” Just then Watcher jumped to his feet.”I know how to tame it” he said. “We will need raw fish and there’s dozens of them in the ocean biome. Smithy, tell Planter I went to the Ocean.” and with that Watcher sped out of the room.
Smithy decided to go finish his sword so off he went. After a while Smithy had finished his sword, enchanted it, and decided to use it for cow hunting. After about ten minutes Smithy returned with an inventory slot half filled with thirty two pieces of leather. Feeling proud, Smithy returned to the village just before nightfall. He was just settling into bed when he heard the cry.
“They are here!” In a flash, Smithy shot out of bed and raced to the village walls and looked out. Five dozen spider and chicken jockeys were riding toward the village walls, each accompanied by either a zombie riding on a zombie horse or a skeleton riding a skeleton horse. Smithy looked toward the ocean in the distance.
Come on Watcher. Come.
At that moment three creepers shot toward the walls and began their exploding process. A dozen archers shot arrows which hit the creepers and immediately killed them. Then half the spiders shot up the wall while the skeletons riding them fired dozens of arrows at the massive army on the battlements. In the distance Smithy saw his aunt Winger coming from the other side of the village leading a giant formation of soldiers off the battlements with elytra wings to slow their fall. The soldiers began clashing at the monsters with their swords. A couple monsters stepped on Blaster’s pressure plates setting off his TNT traps. All that stuff was great but no matter how many monsters were destroyed, more kept coming.
Suddenly Smithy knew what to do. Smithy went to the village square where he found his friends and said “I’ve got a plan to stop this, come with me.” First they went to the store rooms where Smithys friends disguised themselves as zombies. Then Smithy grabbed an ender pearl along with some TNT and raced out onto the battlements. After a minute Smithy saw his Friends.
“Zombies in the village” Smithy yelled and watched as the entire army pored inside. Quickly Smithy shot outside into the middle of the storm of monsters and set up the TNT then he lit it and threw the Ender pearl into the village. Immediately he teleported to the battlements and watched as the monsters exploded into XP. The battle was over. The next day when Watcher returned and heard that the monsters were defeated he ordered a celebration to celebrate the battle.
After the celebration Smithy and Watcher told each other what had happened. Watcher told about fighting Zombies that drowned in water, discovering ocean monuments, Fighting giant spiked fish called Elder guardians who guarded ocean monuments and regular Guardians that were Basically Elder Guardians Except Weaker, and finally he told about finding a stack of raw fish in a chest in an ocean monument. Then Smithy told his tale. Then they went to visit the egg. When they got into the chamber the egg rocked and rocked until finally…out of the egg came a tiny black dragon.
