There was once a boy who was named Jose. His hair is dark brown and messy. He was 16 years old and loved magic. He lived on a planet called, The Lost Moon.

Jose lived a happy life going to school, and just being a normal kid. (At least in his planet.) He had two treasures. One was his magic glove. People waved their hands and said a spell to perform magic. His second treasure was a potion that made him shrink if he put a drop on his head. It had the colors of a sunset on a warm day. He was a happy kid living his life on his planet. But Jose didn’t know what danger would be lurking in the dark.

 

Chapter 1 

“Jose, Jose!” Jose’s mother was shouting. “You are going to be late!” 

   ‘’Ok, ok.’’ Shouted Jose back. He slowly got out of his bed and got dressed in a blue T-shirt, and some jeans. He grabbed his bag and stuffed his treasures in it. Jose then walked down the hallway. The enchanted home had teal and white walls. A vase speckled in red jewels was sitting on a desk.  

“ BOO!!” 

 “AHHH!” Jose had fell right into the vase!! Crash!!

“Got you!” Jose looked up to see his grandfather’s painting peering down at him. 

‘’ I told you, DON’T DO THAT!!” 

 “Jose, if I come in that room and your still in bed, I’m going to lose my mind!!! Hollered his mom.

 “I’m out of bed, I’m out of bed!!” He ran to the vase, pulled out his glove. “Mend without a single sound, I am sorry you are on the ground!” The pieces slowly rose into the air, and stuck themselves togethor.  

“Tom, stop distracting him!!” Jose’s ears felt like they were going to split with all this yelling. So, he continued walking down the hallway, and sat down in his chair. “You want oatmeal?” 

 “Er- sure.’’ 

“Hurry up, the tele-porter is waiting for you.”

“Bye mom!” Said Jose, as he scurried through the tele-porter and said, “ Fox Tail magic study’s.”  And disappeared.

 

Chapter 2

Jose was sprinting down the hall. He scanned for a shortcut to his class, but found nothing. He finally turned around and bumped into a new girl named Crystal. She fell to the ground. “Sorry,” Jose said, helping her up. 

“It is fine, I might ‘of bumped into you.” She replied.

Jose and Crystal FINALLY, made it into class. They then sat down, and got to work on reading the magizine on there desk, The Spell Of Floating. Later, the teacher, Mrs. Rose, came in and said loudly, “ Once we are all done reading The Spell Of Floating, you will try it. About ten minutes later, the students were all seated with a cup of water in front of them. “Gloves on please!”said Mrs. Rose loudly. “ Now remember, the spell is float with me, It is key.” 

“Float with me it is… “ BOOM!!! 

“Class, please follow me, don’t panic!” Mrs. Rose said

When they were outside they could see fire. Jose heard yelling In a voice unfamiliar to him. It was hard to see because there was smoke everywhere. Fires were starting! But jose concentrated on listening to the yelling…

YOU IDIOT… YOU COULD HAVE … NO MORE DRIVING FOR YOU… All the sudden,  a pilot fell from a mountain. “Where did that come from!?” Jose yelled. 

“It’s a ship, Jose!!” Crystal was right behind him. “Into the forest!”

 

Chapter 3

Crystal and Jose were sprinting through the dark and shadowy forest. “Fires are starting to make there way to the forest.” Said Crystal. “We can’t stay here for long.“ The sound of crackling started to fill the woods. Suddenly, a dark figure was walking towards the two kids. It was a person! Jose was petrified.

“What do we do!!!” Jose whispered into Crystal’s ear. 

Crystal, who was still wearing her glove, raised her hand and said, “Freeze away, all day.”  Instantly, the figure froze.

“What, was that?” Jose asked eagerly. He wanted to learn the spell.

“Freeze spell.’’ Responded Crystal.” It lasts a day, very good for escapes.” Jose didn’t know what to say. He opened his mouth to say something, a grumble interrupted him. Thump, thump, thump. 

“What’s that?” Asked Jose.

“Get you’re glove, OUT!!”  Said Crystal in the loudest whisper in the world. So Jose put on his leather glove and tried to remember a spell. There was one in a magazine I read… The water spell!! 

Suddenly, a giant came smashing through the tree’s. He was at least 20 feet tall. He giants deep black eyes peered down at them. He raised his hand, ready to crush the two children. “Get ready!!!” Said Jose. 

‘’ Okay…” said Crystal in a trembling voice.

 

Chapter 4

The giant tried to strike Crystal and Jose. But they moved and the giant missed. “Water come, When I hum.” Jose shouted, waving his hand. A wave suddenly poured out from the sky. The giant crashed to the ground, but the wave kept dumping out onto his body. Again, the people emerged from the shadows. 

“Run!!!!” Jose heard Crystal shout. They sprinted through the forest for 12 minutes, until Crystal stopped Jose. ”It’s no use, they’ll just keep following us.” Crystal gasped. “You cannot see, not even me! “  She yelled. Jose looked at his body, his feet were gone, his hands were fading away,  Crystal had made them invisible!! 

“Were did they go?”  Jose heard a woman’s voice boom around the forest.  

“I- I do not know. “ Said another voice…

“They can’t know about anything.’’ There was silence for a little bit. 

‘’There gone.” Crystal remarked. “We have to find a place to hide.’’ 

“Then lets get outa’ here.’’ Jose replied. So the two ran out of the forest to find somewhere safe.

 

Chapter 5

It was the middle of the night. Crystal and Jose were trying not to get caught. 

“Look.’’ Crystal whispered to Jose. 

“What now.” Jose looked up. He saw the woman. 

‘’It isn’t wha…” the woman started. She was interrupted by Jose.

“Freeze away, all day!” She fell to the ground. Crystal gave an unsure look, but followed Jose.

“Wait!” The spell missed the woman. “Come back!!”

“Never!”

Jose and Crystal fled, but Crystal kept turning around. It was as if she wanted to get caught. ‘’Come on, Crystal!’’ She stopped looking back and followed Jose. 

“Let’s look in that thing!” Crystal yelled. “For clues on what there doing.” It appeared to be a stone castle right in front of them. 

“Okay…” Jose said. The two kids made there way into the castle, loosing each other down a twisting hallway.

 

Chapter 6

Were did all this come from? Thought Jose. ’’ We did nothing, so why do they hate us?” Mumbled Jose to himself. “Who even are they?’’ Someone burst into the room. 

“Who’s there?” It was the woman. Jose’s heart skipped a beat. He held his breath as sweat trickled down his forehead. The woman walked away and threw open a door, walked through, and disappeared into a dark room. “This place is like a maze.” Said Jose a few minutes later.

“I’m a-getting outa here!!” Jose said. He heard a girls voice call, “Hello?” 

“Crystal!!” Called Jose. His voice echoed off the stone hall. He searched until…Jose bumped right into Crystal! 

“Hide, fast!” Crystal warned. 

“But there is nowhere to HIDE!!!”

“Why don’t you open up that bag of yours?” Crystal hissed. Jose was astonished.                         He had completely forgot about his bag. He scrambled to get the bag off his back. He slid his hand inside and found the potion. He dropped a drop on his and Crystal’s head. They shrank to the size of ants. ‘’What the, did you make that?” Crystal said as she examined her tiny body.

“No time, and what is coming?” Jose said quickly.

“People of the sun.”

“What?” Jose asked. People of the sun sounded crazy. The people that were attacking them were probably just angry moon people. But why would they be angry?

“I overheard the people that tried to catch us saying they were the people of the sun. ‘’Said Crystal quickly. “Maybe their just trying to be nice. I also heard them say the planet would be gone in five hours.” She explained. “It’s probably just something natural about your planet.” 

“My planet?”

“Er- no, our planet!”

“Let’s just get outside,” Jose said worriedly. There was a gold necklace around Crystal’s neck all the sudden. It looked like the necklace theSun Queen wore. “Where did yo-“ Jose began, but Crystal was far from him. He sprinted to catch up, but when he reached her, he didn’t ask again. She seemed to be concentrating on getting out of the stone maze.

 

Chapter 7

About five minutes later, Crystal and Jose came back to their own hight. Crystal, 4 feet and 11 inches. She was surprisingly short for her age. Jose, 5 feet, and six inches. He was a tall boy, unlike Crystal. 

‘’We should worry about the people of the sun right now.’’ Said Crystal. “We can try making  peace with them.’’ 

“No.’’ Jose declared. His jaw was locked, and his fists were clenched. Why am I so angry? Jose thought. Why were the people of the sun trying to do this to the moon… 

“Excuse me?” Crystal said. “I don’t think we should fight, Jose. We’ve got to  try something else.

“Well have it your way.” Jose said, starting to yell. It was 1:32 at night. They had 4 hours to save the lost moon. 

“Obey  today, or you’ll pay!” Crystal said, pulling her hand out of  her pocket. It was gloved. If only Mrs. Rose had seen the spell. It was perfect.

“Okay, lets go!” Said Jose suddenly. 

“Well that worked. Said Crystal. They made their way back into the forest, back where they came.

 

Chapter 8

About five minutes later, Crystal and Jose came back to their hight. Crystal, 4 feet and 11 inches. She was surprisingly short for her age. Jose, 5 feet, and six inches. He was a tall boy, unlike Crystal.

Chapter 9

Crystal pulled off her glove and  tossed it on the ground.  She got in the carriage waiting for the Sun Queen and Crystal. Guards were trying to get ahold of Jose. Jose kicked, and fought, until they all lay on the ground, unconscious. Even though none attacked. “That’s what you get when you mess with a Kung-fu master.” Jose said, kicking the air. Yet, he fell down. 

“Still, I can’t believe I fell for that stupid trick from that girl!!” Jose said after he got up, dusting off himself. Jose walked away from the forest. He tripped and fell. His wrist was scratched and bleeding. When he looked at it , he saw his watch. 

Jose had forgotten all about the time!! There was only 1 hour left for their planet, before it was gone!! “This is my planet, and sun won’t win!” Jose whispered to himself. So he sprinted down the tracks of the carriage, and was getting closer and closer to stopping the people of the sun. Until he saw Crystal, staring down at him from the stone castle they had built in three days.

“You need a break, why don’t you want to join us?” She said politely When Jose said no, Crystal shrugged. More sun guards came out of any nook and cranny in the rocks. Jose got ready to fight again, but one of them threw a potion at Jose, and he fell, unconscious.

 

Chapter 10

Crystal pulled off her glove and  tossed it on the ground.  She got in the carriage waiting for the Sun Queen and Crystal. Guards were trying to get ahold of Jose. Chapter 11

Jose opened his eyes to see he was at an unusual place. That potion was strong, because he had been asleep for 5 days. He was in a house, sitting on a chair. He looked out the window, to see the lost moon, destroyed. Big chunks float in space. Knock knock knock. Jose turned around to see Crystal approaching, and sitting down at a nearby chair. Jose ran over to her, but couldn’t reach her. She held out a foot, tripping him. He clenched his fists, ready to fight, but Crystal held out a hand, discouraging him to strike. 

“You know, we had to.” She said gently. “It happened to us too.” Jose looked at her as if she were crazy. To his surprise, she smiled. 

“But then were can we be?” Jose asked in a tense way. 

“A planet. One that hasn’t been destroyed.”

‘’What’s it called?”

“We don’t have a name for it yet.” She said. ‘’There is no magic, but there could be some in our imaginations.’’  

“Is everyone okay?” Jose asked, starting to calm down. ‘’AND WHY DID YOU EVEN DO THIS??” So much for calming down. 

“We didn’t.” Crystal said. We rescued you. “Trillions would of died.”

 

Chapter 12

Jose sank back into his chair. “Trillions?” He said. “But why?” 

“Well, the harvest.” She began. “ It was a hot planet, and people barely got food. We barely got any drops of water. People had about one small helping of food every day. When a child died, we put a stop to it. The lost sun was destroyed by heat. We got everyone to the lost moon. But your moon people did not want us here. They tried to drive us out. Then we figured out the same thing was going to happen to your planet. It was going to get destroyed by cold. Before that, the people of the sun found out about a planet. Not yours, not ours. That’s were we are now.” Now it was Jose’s turn to respond. 

“I never knew.” He said. “How long did you spend planning this out?”

“One month. I got a normal amount of food because I was the daughter of the sun queen.” She revealed. “I often didn’t eat because I thought about the people that really needed it.” Crystal said wearily. “Anyway, we should find a name for this planet.” She walked over to a window. 

“How about, Saturn?’’ Jose recommended.

“Taken.”

‘’Pluto?’’

“Taken.” Jose thought for a little bit. He was just taking names of space rock.

“Earth?” 

“Good. Earth it is!” So Crystal wrote a law that this planet would be called earth, and homes were built, and people started having kids. “A new sun and moon will grow. but it will be different.”She said to Jose. Earth grew, and grew! That’s the planet you live on now. Jose and Crystal lived an even happier life! The best part, no one ever attacked again. Who knows. Maybe their is another planet out there, one undiscovered. What if you were the one to find it. 

Simply remember one thing: Anything can happen.
